10-09-2021 – Questa mattina è stata celebrata la “Giornata della memoria dei marinai scomparsi in mare”, presso il Monumento Ai Caduti del mare (Lungomare Thaon de Revel). Alla presenza delle associazioni combattentistiche e d’arma, delle autorità religiose e civili, il sindaco di Civitavecchia Ernesto Tedesco, il Comandante Francesco Tomas e il presidente della locale associazione marinai d’Italia Enrico Gargano hanno deposto una corona al Monumento Ai Caduti. Successivamente, presso il molo di piazza Betlemme, hanno consegnato, tramite l’equipaggio del Palio Marinaro, alla motovedetta della Guardia costiera, una corona floreale che è stata poi affidata alle acque con il saluto delle sirene delle imbarcazioni delle Forze Armate e dei Corpi armati dello Stato sia ad ordinamento militare e sia civile, nell’anniversario nella ricorrenza dell’affondamento della corazzata “Roma” e a ricordo di tutti coloro che hanno perso la vita in mare. Alla manifestazione la sezione è stata rappresentata dal 1° Mar. Lgt. Carlo Trezza e dal Serg. MM Luigi Bonomo.
